Candle Wax Stain Removal
Candle wax stain removal from fabric and carpet is best done once the wax has hardened. Once the wax has hardened break the wax away. To remove any remaining wax, put the affected part of the cloth between two sheets of brown paper or pieces of clean absorbent material. Using a warm (not hot) iron gently move over material, replacing paper or material when necessary, continuing the process until wax is removed. There will still be a stain. Rinse the stain in hot water and add a stain removing detergent. I recommend Vanish. Rub the detergent into the stain and then leave for ten minutes. Rinse with warm water. If the stain still remains rub more detergent in and leave for an hour or so before rinsing.
