Clean Pet Urine
To clean pet urine effectively and remove both the stain and the smell you will need to use several products. You can use these products to deter your pet from urinating indoors and also to get rid of stains and smells. The Stain The stain is usually easier to clean than the smell. You can use a homemade remedie for this or if you prefer there are some excellent commercial cleaners, for example Vanish. For the homemade remedie you will need: . 1 spray bottle . 1/8 cup of white vinegar . 1 tspn lemon juice . Warm/hot water . 1/8 cup washing soda
The vinegar will also help neutralize the urine smell. The Smell If you have used the home remedie stain remover above the lemon juice and the vinegar will have helped neutralize the smell but won't have completely irradicated it. You will need to use enzyme odor neutralizers to completely get rid of the smell. Products that contain these enzymes can be purchased from any good pet store. They can be expensive but it is well worth it. Make sure you follow the directions on the pack exactly. These cleanup techniques will of course only work of course if you have trained your pet not to urinate in the house any more.
