Cleaning Leather Furniture
When cleaning leather furniture you need to be aware how the leather is made in order to protect it. The majority of furniture is made from protected leather, this means the leather surface is covered with a blend of opaque pigments. A soft leather cleaner and a non abrasive sponge needs to be used to protect the pigment coating. When cleaning spray the leather cleaner onto a sponge and then gently work the sponge over the leather. Try not to get the sponge too wet as you don't want too much liquid on the leather. When you have worked the cleaning fluid over the leather wipe it off with a soft towel. Repeat this method for more stubborn stains. You should then apply a leather protection cream to protect the leather from everyday wear. Remember to dry thoroughly before applying the leather protection Cream.
