Grout Stain

Grout Stain

Mild cleaning fluid and warm water won't budge grout stains. You need something with a little more kick to get your grout clean.

If your grout has not been cleaned in a while I would start out with bleach and hot water. Make sure you wear rubber gloves for this. Mix 1 part bleech with 3 parts hot water and work the mix over the sufrace with a small abrasive brush. A tooth brush will do but will be time consuming so I would try and find a bigger brush. Leave the mix for ten minutes and rinse.

Over time Bleach can corrode grout so I don't recommend using this type of cleaner very often. To keep your grout sparkling once clean you should seal it with a grout sealer. Sealing forms an invisible barrier between the grout and the surface, this will then protect your investment for years to come.
