Monthly House Cleaning Schedule

The Monthly house cleaning schedule covers those chores that only need doing once a month in your home. All of your time shouldn't be spent cleaning and if you follow the daily and weekly cleaning schedules dirt and mess will not build up and you will only need to do a big clean once a month.

Set a day aside for your big monthly clean.

Monthly Cleaning

Bedroom

• Turn Matress
• Replace scented drawer and cupboard pouches/liners
• Dust light shade
• Organise closets

Bathroom

• Dust light fittings
• Dust on top of cupboards
• Use grout whitner to whiten any grout stains

Family Rooms

• Dust on top of any tall cupboards
• Dust light fittings

Kitchen & Utility Room

• Wipe out cupboards and shelves
• Organise cupboards and shelves
• Descale kettle and coffe maker with descaling tablets
• Clean small appliances - coffee maker, toaster etc
• Run washing machine on an empty cycle to clean.
• Empty and thoroughly clean fridge

General

• Shampoo carpets that need cleaning (only if they look dirty - too much cleaning is not good for carpets)
• Wash windows inside and out
• Wash down front and back doors
