Laundry Organizer

A Laundry organizer is essential to speed up your laundry and ensure you also get the best result. I actually use several organisers. One for dirty wlaundry and an organiser for clean laundry.

The organizer to the right is perfect for sorting laundry before you wash it. There are three sections to sort, whites, colors and darks. Whites should only contain all white clothing, darks sound contain those colour clothes that are more likely to run like black, grey, dark blue and colours should contain all other colours.

If you are lucky enough to have a laundry or utility room you can put this organizer directly in this room next to the washing machine. When any one compartment is full it is then quick and easy to pop it in the washing machine. Laundry Shelves
If you have a laundry room I would also encourage you to invest in some laundry shelving like in the picture to the left. Once you laundry is clean and dry you can hang or fold it and place it on the shelves to save time. This will allow you to put another load of laundry in more quickly, will give you nice folded laundry when you are ready to put it away and your household will also know where to look for their clean items of clothing.

I also find it helpful to label the shelves with my family’s names and to put their clean laundry on their own designated shelf.

This all helps save time and keep everything organised.
