Red Wine Stain Removal

Red wine stain removal is most easily done as soon as the wine is spilt. If you have a bottle of lemonaide to and tip this over the red wine as soon as it is spilt this will neutralise some of the colour.

Next dampen the area with water and blot with paper towels, working from the outside of the stain inwards.

For stains that have dried you will need a strong cleaning detergent. For carpets and clothes I recommend products by vanish.

Wet the area with hot or if the fabric will take it boiling water. Rub the detergent into the stain rubbing as much as possible without damaging the fabric. Leave the detergent to soak in for 10 minutes. Rinse again with hot or boiling water.

If the stain is still not removed work in more detergent and leave for an hour or so and rinse again.
